Obtaining nanostructured membranes based on metal meshes of diff erent sizes with a certain type of wettability
Keywords:
membranes, hydrophilicity, oleophobicity, metal mesh.Abstract
This work consists in producing nanostructured membranes based on a grid of stainless steel with a certain size for the separation of water and organic liquids. Wastewater treatment from organic pollutants is an important process due to increased demand for clean water. Membrane separation processes are increasingly becoming an alternative method of separating water and organic liquids. A method for obtaining nanostructured membranes with a certain type of wettability, as well as a study of its eff ectiveness, is described.
