Abstract

It is shown that the existing design of the small force sensor provides the ability to determine the dynamic characteristics of combustion (reactive force of combustion products) at variable pressures and can be used to express the specific impulse of reactive force on small rocket fuel samples. The resulting values of the specific impulse can serve as a preliminary estimate of the energy characteristics of the new compositions, and also be used for the purpose of comparing the characteristics for various fuel compositions being developed.
