Бос поршеньді адиабаталық газды қысу-реактор қабырғаларының әсерінсіз термиялық реакцияларды зерттеуге арналған газ фазалық кинетика әдісі. Мақалада осы әдістің артықшылықтары мен ерекшеліктері және оның технологиялық процестерде қолданылуы қарастырылады. Тарихи контексте мақалада метан қоспаларының синтез-газға және құрамында оттегі бар органикалық заттарға парциалды тотығуының адиабаталық қысу реакторында алынған эксперименттік нәтижелері келтірілген. Метанның синтез-газға каталитикалық емес конверсиясы зертханалық масштабта зерттелді және кеңейтілген қондырғыларда (химиялық сығымдау реакторлары) сыналды және практикалық қолдану үшін перспективалы деп танылды. Сондай-ақ, адиабаталық қысуды қолданған кезде формальдегид пен метанолдың іс жүзінде маңызды шығымдылығын алу мүмкін емес екендігі көрсетілген. Метанның бай қоспаларын сығу кезінде тұтану қысу коэффициенттерінің тар интервалында жүретіні, метан мен оттегінің конверсия дәрежесі күрт өсетіні анықталды. Адиабаталық қысу кезінде биогаздың модельдік қоспалары СО2 қоспаларының метанның ішінара тотығуына әсерін қарастырады.
