Abstract

The article discusses the issues of increasing the efficiency of low-power industrial heating boilers when burning solid fuel in a stationary layer. The improved design of the furnace chamber eliminates the loss of small parts of coal through the grate. The air enters through the nozzles into the combustion coal and combustion process is controlled. The purpose of this work is to ensure the completeness of fuel combustion in the furnace for maximum heat generation and reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, as well as to improve the combustion technology in low-power boilers with combustion chambers for burning in a fi xed coal layer using a grate. The constructive scheme of the furnace system and the functional scheme of the proposed automatic air supply control system are given. The results of the test of the improved KVTS-0.2 boiler are presented and technical and economic indicators are determined, which indicate an increase in the efficiency of the boiler.
