Abstract

Behavior of a refractory concrete as an universal high-temperature lining material for objects of blast furnace and anode production was studied. Results of pilot tests carried out in ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC, at the Zhezkazgan copper smelter of Kazakhmys Smelting LLP, at the Ust-Kamenogorsk metallurgical complex of Kazzinc LLP are shown. It was determined that the new universal refractory concrete has high performance. Its application provides an increase in the life cycle of metallurgical units while reducing the specific consumption per unit of metal products produced.
