BIOCIDAL COMPONENTS OF DC GLOW DISCHARGE PLASMA JET
Keywords:

The effect of He/O2, Ar/O2, N2 and air plasma jets on Staphylococcus aureus deposited on the surface of dense agar medium is investigated. The role UV radiation in bacteria inactivation is determined. Emission and infrared absorption spectroscopy are applied to determine densities of plasma biocidal reactive oxygen and nitrogen components.
