Abstract

New experimental data on synthesis of carbon nanostructures by the direct current plasma torch with the divergent channel of output electrode are presented. Products of synthesis after pyrolysis of carbon precursor in plasma jet reactor have been characterized by methods of electronic microscopy, thermogravemetric and X-ray phase analysis. Dependence of the yield of carbon nanostructures from the type of plasma forming gas, its pressure, consumption of soot with catalysts and material of surface of collecting has been established.
