Abstract

The interconnection of the macrostructure of lead salts with their rheological properties achieved in the process of polymer encapsulation is shown. Polyvinyl alcohol was used as an encapsulating agent to change the morphology of model systems. The increase in dispersion with a simultaneous decrease in the needle and fibrous component in the macrostructure of the final product is considered. An encapsulation mode was selected, which was conducted in order to create a model of a technologically safe dosing process followed by tableting of a pyrotechnic mixture. Tableted samples manufactured according to the internal regulations were tested for regularity of geometric dimensions to calculate the density deviation, which affects the stability of the parameters of the combustion and detonation waves. On the model systems, the technological mode of manufacturing pyrotechnic compositions was selected, which, in a real system, showed the stability of the fire chain of initiating pyrotechnic units, with a smaller charge of the initiating substance.
