On June 6, 2026, Vladimir Sergeevich Arutyunov, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Hydrocarbon Oxidation at the N.N. Semenov Federal Research Center for Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Combustion and Plasma Chemistry, celebrated his 80th birthday.
