Abstract

In work results of research of process of burning of oil on a water surface from a deposit of Karazhanbas. Is investigated effect of synthetic sorbent on the process of ignition and combustion of the oil slick on the water. Devised synthetic sorbent for ignition oil on water. Investigated temperature characteristics of a flame, and also an oil and adjoining water layer. Is defined the minimum thickness of an oil layer on a water table at which burning process is possible. Are established structure and properties of residual products of burning of oil. The structure and properties of formed soot is investigated. Results of research can be used by working out and creation of means and ways for liquidation of oil spill with use of processes of burning.
